Interview with African American blues singer Juwana Jenkins.

“While my classmates were listening to rap and hip hop, which were just beginning, I listened to the music of older generations. Everything that came out of Detroit-based Motown:  The Supremes, The Temptations, Four Tops. Besides that, I liked the old school singers. I don’t know whether their names mean anything to you, but Lena Horne or ‘the Blues Queen’ Dinah Washington were ladies with a capital L for me.”

Oh yes, and Vinohrady is a Prague district. :-)
